Conner began working in adult oncology in nursing school and continued until 2013. At that time, she transitioned to pediatric oncology nursing at CHKD and fell in love with the patients, work, and environment.
Moving to rural Nevada in 2015, she returned to adult oncology while earning her nurse practitioner degree. After graduating, she worked in a primary care extension clinic, where she cared for same-day needs of patients ages 5 and up.
Returning to CHKD in 2020, she sees patients in the Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorder Clinic, primarily working in the INTACT clinic (INdividuals Thriving After Cancer Therapy).
