Bio:

After 11 years in San Diego, Dr. Brakke and his wife decided to move back to Virginia where his wife grew up.

After a rather tumultuous July 2019, Dr. Brakke and his wife were reminded of the importance of their health and family. In a span of one week, their home was destroyed in a fire and shortly thereafter they welcomed the birth of their son, William. Luckily, their home was under renovation at the time and no one was hurt.

For families, surgery and anesthesia can be scary, Dr. Brakke looks forward to reassuring you and keeping your child safe.
