Bio:
Dr. Kemp is an anesthesiologist with fellowship training in pediatrics and pediatric cardiac anesthesia.
She attended Averett University in Virginia where she studied biomedical science as an undergraduate. She then went to the University of Queensland, Ochsner School of Medicine in Australia to obtain her medical degree.
Dr. Kemp did her residency in anesthesiology and perioperative medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. She went on to complete her pediatric fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, followed by an advanced fellowship in pediatric cardiac care at the Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University.
Dr. Kemp enjoys the challenge and meticulousness that comes with caring for children with congenital heart disease; she also values the continuity of care that exists within the specialty.
She enjoys spending her time outside of work traveling and hiking with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
