Bio:

A native of Michigan, Clements spent the first eight years of her nursing career working and training in Detroit. Her nursing experience includes pediatric and adult emergency medicine, pediatric trauma, and pediatric critical care. After spending many years at the bedside, she knew she wanted to advance her career and specialize in acutely ill and injured children.

Clements completed her Master of Science in nursing at Wayne State University in 2013 and is board certified as a pediatric acute care nurse practitioner. After graduation she elected to venture out and explore new opportunities which lead her to CHKD’s emergency department.

Clements enjoys spending time talking with families and getting to know her patients. She tries to create a calm and positive atmosphere during what can be a stressful time. She strives to always continue learning and growing her skillset to provide the best possible care to her patients.
