Bio:

Originally from Memphis, Dr. Caves recently moved to the Tidewater area after completing her fellowship in adolescent medicine at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. She provides compassionate and equitable care to adolescents and young adults. Adolescence is a time of rapid growth and development, both physically and emotionally, and may be a difficult adjustment for youth and their families. Her goals are to provide an inclusive, non-judgmental clinical atmosphere while offering educational and confidential services related to reproductive/sexual and mental health. Dr. Caves has specialized expertise in managing diverse issues unique to this population; this includes being credentialed as an HIV Specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine. She enjoys working as a multidisciplinary team member to offer optimal care for each of her patients and their families.
