Kelly Shea, PsyD

Dr. Shea was born in Orlando, Florida, and is a graduate of University of Central Florida. She obtained her doctoral degree at University of Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut. Her predoctoral internship was with Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, where she worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with medically complex individuals. She enjoys working with LGBTQIA+ youth and adults and performing psychological assessments.

Since the beginning of graduate training, Dr. Shea’s passion has been serving individuals who are navigating identity development and changes. Her dedication to helping individuals cope with internal and external changes remains at the forefront of her care. She believes that connecting with the whole individual is key to promoting both mental and physical health.

Dr. Shea is a certified yoga teacher and used this training to develop a yoga-based program for adolescents.

On the weekends, Dr. Shea likes to spend time outdoors, play with her dog, and try new restaurants.
