Bio:

Jennifer Moran, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in providing therapy and assessment services to children, adolescents, and families. Working from integrated and developmental frameworks, Moran uses evidence-based treatments to promote mental health and well-being in children and adolescents. Her clinical experience includes diverse treatment settings, such as schools, hospitals, community health centers, and university-based counseling and assessment centers. Having worked as a psychologist in a school setting, Moran also has experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments, providing behavioral and academic consultation, and helping families understand school-related challenges and services, including interventions and the special education process. Moran works to empower children and families so they can build resilience and enhance well-being. She strives to create a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental environment for patients and families, where she works collaboratively with them to build strengths and achieve their treatment goals. She grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia and came to Virginia Beach for her pre-doctoral internship. In her free time, Moran enjoys time outdoors, going to the beach, and spending time with her family. She is married, and she and her husband have one dog.
