Bio:
After graduating from nursing school, Bainum joined the U.S. Navy and worked in a variety of clinical leadership positions.
She left the Navy in 2018 and worked as a hospice nurse in San Diego. Deciding she wanted to return to working as a nurse practitioner, but in an acute care setting rather than primary care, she decide on CHKD’s Urgent Care division.
