Charles Stith III, MSN, CPNP-PC

Ferrum College
Jefferson College of Health Sciences

Growing up, Charles Stith always knew he wanted to be in the medical field, just unsure of where he would land. He started his journey as an Emergency Medical Technician after high school, and then received a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Ferrum College in 2013. After that, Charles was accepted into Jefferson College of Health Sciences Nursing Program, where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.

Charles chose to pursue nursing not only for the bedside care and patient advocacy aspects, but for the continuity of care surrounding each child that he cares for as they grow up. Charles is passionate about seeing patients improve over an extended period of time, in addition to having the opportunity to have a positive influence on them and their health. He grew up in a nurturing household with very involved family members, so he appreciates the importance and benefit of our youth having that positive influence in their lives. Charles is looking forward to being able to provide that same experience to the children of CHKD.
