Bio:
Cali Caldwell is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who has a special interest in improving collaboration between primary care and mental health specialties to promote mental wellness in pediatric patients.
Her past areas of study have been family-based promotion of adolescent self esteem, the impact of military deployment on the family, and assessment of mental health outcomes.
She’s made community presentations on the role of sleep in adolescent mental health, and the use of stimulants in pediatric populations.
Cali is currently continuing her education at the University of Virginia, where her research works to improve child and adolescent care within the welfare system. She is professionally affiliated with several academic, nursing, and military organizations, as well as a local Court Appointed Special Advocate program.
